Day 11

Woke up just a tad later this morning because of our adventures last night and got going about 7:30am.
It was 57 degrees but warmed up again very quickly. By the time we got to our motel it was around 90 degrees.
We stopped for lunch at this cool little dinner called Galaxy Cafe in Hatch Utah. It was a 50's 60's kinda place. Really neat. We ended up buying T-Shirts there.
We had a guy from Montana follow us for two gas fill ups. He was on a crotch rocket headed for Los Angeles. We split up when we got off I-15 and took Route 20 over to 89 South into Kanab, UT right near the Arizona border. We went 274 miles.
We will be taking off in the morning for the North Rim of the Grand Canyon about 40 miles into Arizona and then we will come back to Saint George, UT and head for Las Vegas.

Locals refer to Kanab as "Little Hollywood" due to its history as a filming location for western movies and television series such as Daniel Boone, Gunsmoke, Planet Of The Apes, The Outlaw Josey Wales, The Lone Ranger, and Stagecoach, among other films.
