We left Moscow this morning at 7:05 and it was 64*. We headed back North toward the Montana border and Glacier National Park. It is some awesome country that we rode through. From the grain fields and mountains of Idaho to the mountains of Montana. We visited with some nice people and had a nice lunch where there were a bunch of motorcycles on their way home from Sturgis Bike Week.
It was a nice ride and the temp stayed around 80 degrees all day. Just right for riding and seeing the sights. Weather permitting tomorrow we are going to ride the "Going to the Sun Road in Glacier Park" from the West to the East.
Hope all are doing well.
Take care,
Albert and Susie

Hi Susie and Al,
ReplyDeleteYes, a beautiful ride same with your pictures... The one you took of 'Huckleberry Patch' - there's one I took - going from East to West - of another sign for 'Huckleberry Patch' almost a year ago to the day... Ours are in our album (on our site) labled 2009-08-13-C etc - pic 62 of 73... There's also pic of the sign saying 'Columbia Falls' 1 mile, along with 2 other towns...
Regardless of the weather tomorrow, sure hope you travel West to East on the 'Highway to the Sun' road through Glacier Nat'l - was raining when we went through but awesome - we were riding East to West... I was glad the clouds hung in the mountains or covered some of them, made it harder to see how high up we were, which was fine with me...
Enjoy, have fun and be safe...

Hi Suzann,
ReplyDeleteYup another great day. Thanks.

Going to the sun road is awesome. It is high up and drop dead gorgeous. Have a good time, Becky
ReplyDeleteBecky,
ReplyDeleteYou've been on that road?
I'm not crazy about riding it. Too high, too narrow, too close to the edge and no much for sides. :)
Susie
Loved yesterday's Phil story. It must of been awesome to be standing where you knew he was when he was a boy and was part of all that happened around there, soooo cool! The pics of today's ride are just beautiful. Enjoy ly
ReplyDeleteHi Blue Jay,
ReplyDeleteYes, it was awesome. I think he is really enjoying telling everyone at the nursing home about it.
Tammy printed out the whole blog entry about it for Dad so he could have it.

I hope your having fun while I'm here sweating like a pig. Be careful on your way home and I'll talk to you when you get home if I remember to call." Sorry I could not get him to understand me more.
