Albert said it feels about like it did when we packed for VT, NH, and ME. I'm sure it is a tad harder to handle.

No it doesn't weigh twice as much. The bike without the load of the bags weighs about 750lbs. I don't really know how much the luggage and the bags weigh, but I can carry the two bags that are on the back with all the stuff in it with one hand. It does handle a little different but not a lot. The heaviest stuff is low.
susie that will give you a nice back rest if it is sturdy. so that will make it better for you . karissa

ReplyDeleteThe luggage is hooked to the back rest. It does make for a larger area to lean back. :) I like to sit straight as a rooster though most of the time. LOL.
